A diagnosis of rare, terminal cancer didn't keep Rachel down in 2006 & 2007. She laughed her way through it, inspiring others along the way. 

The truth is that Rachel had no idea how sick she was, because her mom wanted her to have a fighting chance.  She already knew that Rachel was strong.  

After Rachel's 2.5-year battle, and her volunteer work with other organizations, she started UCAAN- United Cancer Advocacy Action Network to help others fighting cancer.  And now, almost 18 years since diagnosis she's published her first book with a goal of helping more people across the country!
