New Male Breast Cancer Study

Greetings,

You are being invited to consider participating in a research study being conducted by Vanderbilt University Medical Center. The purpose of this study is to learn more about breast cancer in men, the treatments used in patients with breast cancer in men and the side effects experienced by men undergoing breast cancer treatments.

Participation in this study is entirely voluntary. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to complete a one-time online survey providing information about your diagnosis, treatments received and side effects. The survey will take approximately 10 - 15 minutes to complete. The survey may be completed online using the secure link provided below.

You may complete the survey at a time and place that is convenient for you.

Your privacy is important to us. Information collected for this study will be kept confidential to the extent allowed by law. Your survey responses will be collected and stored in REDCap, a secure, web-based research data system hosted by Vanderbilt University Medical Center. We are not collecting any identifying information as part of this study like your name or birth date.  Only approved members of our research team will have access to your information. Any results from this study may be shared or published but will not include any information that could identify those who submitted surveys.

Your decision to participate or not will not affect your medical care, benefits or relationship with your healthcare providers in any way.
